American influences
The interior of Villa JC Stevens is characterized by strong Newport influences with the highest quality in the smallest detail and many marine elements, but it is not only about classic Ivy League feeling. No two rooms are alike. Here there are social areas, a well-sized terrace, own kitchen, dining room and ten single rooms and two double rooms, thus space for fourteen overnight guests. And once you’re here, everything can be included. From breakfast to evening supper and everything in between.
SEPARATE MEETINGS
Our villa on Stenungsön is large enough to accommodate the whole family, all the friends or the conference group that wants discretion and privacy in a calm and beautiful environment. The 450 square meter villa is decorated in a classically elegant New England style with a marine touch and consists of a combined dining room and meeting room with the option to hire a personal chef, a family room and twelve individually furnished rooms. All twelve guest rooms are each dedicated to a winning boat from the competition’s history and decorated accordingly – everything from color combinations to wall decorations. The relaxed family room is named after Sweden’s racing boat from 1992 – Tre Kronor.

About Villa JC Stevens and the America’s Cup
In the case of Villa JC Stevens, the story is about how the America’s Cup contender Tre Kronor was actually planned and drawn in this house in 1992. Today, the villa therefore pays tribute to the man who once gave the competition its name, the American John Cox Stevens. When in 1851 he won the sailing competition Hundred Guineas Cup with his boat America, he was the first non-Englishman to take home the title. Not only that, it would also take nearly 150 years before anyone took the title back from the Americans. All rooms in the villa are named after winning boats in the competition.
An exclusive accommodation for up to 14 people. Our wonderful villa on Stenungsön is large enough to accommodate the whole family, all friends, or the conference group that wants discretion and privacy.
