STENUNGSBADEN 60 | AMERICA’S CUP | AUGUST
When our hotel got new owners in the 70s, we became closely connected with the America’s Cup. Our villa JC Stevens, named after the founder of the sailing competition, was sometimes packed with more sailors than regular staff back in the days! In 1992, Stenungsbaden Yacht Club was also the mother club for the Swedish America’s Cup contenders the “Tre Kronor”. In other words, sailing is something we are passionate about.
August is the big sailing month on the west coast, not least with Tjörn Runt going off the rails. In connection with Tjörn runt, every year we have had traditional concerts and nightclubs to celebrate life by the sea. What better than to hit extra big this summer with a concert with none other than Thomas Stenström and Miss Li? A ship arrives loaded with the summer’s best music experiences!
